In this tutorial I demonstrate how to tie the blaze bar paracord bracelet.
The braze bar is tied similarly to the cobra knot paracord bracelet, but is a bit wider. It is not exactly the double width, but about 1.5 times in width.
This design also works really well for dog collars and belts.
So, what you will need to tie the bracelet?
I suggest you use the following:
The blaze bar is tied by first attaching your cord to youor buckle ends. I used the same way I used on the trilobite paracord bracelet, but you can use any other way, as long as you end up with a double core setup.
The bottom part of the buckle.
And the top. Now let’s start the weave.
Step 1: With your left cord go over two and under two, then over the right cord.
With your right cord go over two, then under two and into the loop created by the left cord.
Step 2: Now start with the right cord. Go under two and over two, then under the left cord.
With the left cord go under two, over two and into the loop made by the right cord.
Tighten up. Now start step 1 again.
We start step 1 on the left again.
Step 1 complete. Now start step 2 again.
As you can see, just alternate step 1 and 2 and you will get a nice weave. Once you reach the bottom buckle part, simply cut the ends of the cord and melt them.
Enjoy your new bracelet!
