This time we make a Mad Max paracord bracelet.
This design was used in the Mad Max: Fury road movie and it is an adjustable cobra knot paracord bracelet.
I quite like the design. It is simple, stores a bit of cord for an emergency and it is adjustable, which is very handy.
So, let’s tie one!
All you need in terms of supplies is a piece of paracord 550, scissors and a lighter.
Start by folding the cord in half.
Move up from the bottom as much as you would like for your bracelet length, then start a cobra knot on the left.
Place your fight cord over the top and through the loop on the left. Tighten up.
Now make a cobra knot on the right by making a loop on the right.
Place the left cord over the core and into the loop on the right. Tighten up.
Again start a knot to the left.
Go over the core with your right cord, then into the loop on the left.
Keep alternating the loops to the left and right until you reach the bottom.
Leave a tiny loop at the bottom.
Feed the cord facing down under and through the loop.
And the cord facing up goes through the top of the loop.
Loosen up the two loops at the top.
Work your ends through these loops.
Make a loop with one of the ends.
Place the end through the loop to make a half hitch.
Do this with both cords and you are done! Cut and melt the above the hitches.
If you want to finish with a two strand stopper knot, try the lanyard knot.
And the video tutorial, showing a bit of a different technique:
